A 21st Century Workforce
The Senate proposal passed in 2013 contains a number of harmful provisions that would add arbitrary restrictions, fees and layers of red tape that would restrict the ability of American businesses to hire a globally competitive workforce.
Though these provisions were designed to protect American workers, they will ultimately have the opposite effect: If the U.S. technology industry is forced to pay a premium for talent in addition to onerous and additional government regulation, companies will outsource operations to friendlier climes, hardly a recipe for job creation.
